We had such a fun birthday for Jax on Friday evening. It was his actual birthday, so we decided to do his party in the evening at a local bounce place. Jax had been there before and loved it, so I knew it would be a hit. Unfortunately, he was in some kind of mood over the past week and Friday was no good. Poor guy. I think he might be working on his 2-year-old molars. So he was fussy and whiny for most of the day. We got to Monkey Joe's for his party and he was begging for cupcakes and he refused to let anyone else (but me) take him on the bouncies. He finally cheered up once we let him have a cupcake, and his friends showed up. The rest of the evening went really well and he had a blast. We had about 10 kids there, ages 10 months to 5 years, and we had about 25 adults. So it was a great turnout! The kids played for a while, we ate pizza and cupcakes, opened presents, then the kids played some more. Jax kept asking for "more jump?!". I know I keep saying this, but I just can't believe that my sweet little boy is TWO! Time sure does fly by!
I made these cupcakes from funfetti cake mix, then used
this recipe for buttercream frosting. I ordered the cupcake toppers from
here on Etsy. They turned out super cute, and super yummy!
Favors I made... I bought coloring books at the Dollar Store, then cups, crayons and lollipops at Party City. I downloaded the Disney font from online then created these tags that say "Thank you for coming to my party! Love, Jax"
I also made this banner using the same downloaded Disney font
It only took one blow for Jax to blow his candle out! He was so excited!
Jax with his friends Taylor and Brecken
He got lots of fun toys and DVD's
He LOVED this Lightening McQueen car :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BIG BOY!!!
