Not 84 degrees

Well... we aren't getting a new AC unit until Wednesday. However, the company we hired did manage to get us 2 in-room floor units that blow cold air. So for now our house isn't quite as boiling hot. It's still plenty warm because the in-room units have been working overtime trying to cool our house from the 90 degrees that it reached yesterday. YUCKKKK!!! But at least we have some cold air blowing. Plus, when we close our bedroom at night, the temperature in there really drops because the unit doesn't have to cool very much space. So for now, we're ok.

Ryan's parents are coming into town today for 10 days. I'm so glad they got a hotel because I would feel AWFUL if they had to be in our house at night with our broken AC. It's bad enough that they will be here during the day. But all that aside, I'm looking forward to spending family time with them. They haven't been to Fayetteville before so we are going to take them to all the cool military museums, show them some Southern hospitality and let them enjoy their new grandbaby. We are also driving down to Florida for the 4th of July weekend. I'm very much looking forward to a road trip. And I'm only a little nervous about how Jax will do. He's such a good baby so I really think it'll be fine. As long as he has a full tummy and a clean butt, he is pretty content.
