- 3 teeth (but you already knew that)(and I know this is physical... but it's still worth noting)
- Scooting..... backwards :)
- Pushing himself from his belly to sitting on his bottom
- Clapping
- Rocking on all 4's... just trying so hard to actually crawl
- ALMOST pulling himself up to standing
I mean, come on, talk about new developments!
We also had Jax's 9 month check up today. He's still very little and has continued to go down in the percentiles, so I have a referral to WAMC (the hospital where he was born) for him to see a pediatric nutritionist. His doctor isn't too worried because he hasn't dropped drastically. but he still wants him to be seen just to make sure everything is okay. He has only gained one pound since December 3rd. So I'll be scheduling that appointment tomorrow. Here's his stats...
- 18.15 lbs (20th percentile)
- 24.69 in (10th percentile)
- 18.11 head circumference (75th percentile!! HA!)
Hi Jenna!!
ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel any better, Jackson was in the 15% for weight at 10 months, then he grew to the 25% for his 1 year well baby visit. It has been tough putting weight on the little guy!! They say kids are only supposed to grow 1-3 pounds in the second year??! Isn't that wild! I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Good to check it out, but he is fine! He is active and it is hard to keep weight on. I would be concerned if he was not meeting the developmental milestones. He made just need a few extra calories. Elena - was in the 6% in height and weight at the 9 month mark - yes, 6% and at age 7 is still small, but healthy. Praying for you...missy
